Do you work in teams?
Based on the size and budget of your event or project, our photographers are available together as an experienced team or individually, working with or without an associate. We’d love to chat so we can craft the best experience for you!
What are your rates?
Wedding photography is available starting at $3500, family sessions start at $399, one hour portrait or personal branding sessions start at $199, corporate headshots are $99, and commercial photography is by design. Please inquire for more information.
Do you offer prints?
Yes! We offer a wide range of prints. From traditional 4x6, 5x7 and 8x10 to beautiful, custom wall art collections in acrylic and canvas. We also offer a range of custom designed albums perfect for your coffee tables. These are built to last and are instant heirlooms.
What is your current availability?
For weddings, we have limited dates remaining for 2020 and currently accepting bookings for 2021. We are available for portrait, headshot, commercial and event photography in or around Halifax by appointment. Please inquire for dates.
What are your studio operating hours?
We don’t keep specific studio hours and are not always there. Most meetings are by appointment only, but feel free to pop in if you’re walking by and happen to see one of us inside!
What does your base wedding package include?
10 hours of coverage by one photographer with an online gallery to download your collection digitally. Engagement sessions, pre or post wedding event coverage, second photographers, custom designed album and wall art are not included.
Do you offer packages for smaller weddings or elopements?
Yes, we have a variety of custom options that compliment your event size and budget. Most smaller events are billed an hourly rate with a minimum 4 hours.
Do you work in teams?

Do you require a shot list?
We are very thorough with our coverage, including photos of your dress, jewelry, shoes, flowers, food and reception décor. There is no need to give us a shot list of everything you’d like photographed. In fact, the only list we recommend you planning is one for your family group shots. This is very helpful and helps the day to run smoothly!
What if it rains?
We can work with you on a plan B for your photos should it rain. Having a beautiful umbrella handy never hurts, and our gear can handle (mostly) anything … and we’re never afraid of getting wet! If it rains on your wedding day, we will still create gorgeous photos. We’ve had couples tell us their favourite part of their day ended up being the rain, because they had so much fun and created shots that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise!
How long till we see our photos?
Because we take such care in making sure all your edited photographs will look great for years to come, completion takes anywhere from 8 to 12 weeks, depending on how far into wedding season we are. At that time, your online gallery will be made available for you to see (and to share with your friends and family!) But don’t worry, we’ll send you a sneak peek a few weeks after your wedding day.
Do you edit all the photos?
We sure do. You'll receive a full set of colour, high resolution images. Each image is carefully toned, colour corrected and sharpened using our professional styling. We believe in authenticity and while our style is unique and vibrant, we believe in timeless art and won't apply any whimsical filtering to your photos.
Will you travel for destination weddings?
Yes! And we love them! We travel all over the maritimes, Canada and across the globe for destination weddings. In most cases, we will book our own airfare, hotel and transportation, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. We will also work with your travel agent if you have one. We love being able to spend multiple days with our couples and really getting to know everyone.
How long before the wedding should we book you?
To avoid disappointment you should book at least 12 months in advance, but ideally between 12 - 18 months if you can. We take on limited bookings each year, so even if we have your date available, if our roster is full we won't be taking on additional weddings.
Do you need to meet us?
Yes! We’d love to meet in our studio, via FaceTime, Skype, Google Hangout or an old fashioned phone call. By connecting with you on a deeper, more personal level, we can truly understand and capture what you love in your spouse and in your life.
How do we book you?
After our initial consultation, we’ll send you a password-protected link where you can sign your contract and pay the retainer. Everything is handled online. It takes five minutes, and after that, you can count on us to be there with our cameras for the most anticipated day of your life. Retainers are 20% of your contracted packaged and officially secures the date. The remainder of your balance is due 30 days before the wedding date. Payments can be made by cheque, email transfer, cash or Visa.
